We have room on our Team for another full-time Vet Tech!

We are a 3 Dr Vet office in Helena, looking for a dynamic new Team member to join our amazing staff.

Job duties include: Assisting Drs with patients, surgeries, rooms and treatments. Communicating information between Dr’s and Clients. Caring for hospitalized patients. Filling prescriptions and administering medications. Recording of vitals and observations. Running labwork.

Previous veterinary experience is preferred, pay rate is dependant on experience &/or License. Pay for this position will be $20 per hour. LVT candidates can discuss hourly rate DOE. Work hours will be primarily Monday through Friday. There is also a rotating Tech Treatment schedule which, once fully trained, you will be required to join. This will require you, when scheduled, to be available for emergency treatment of hospitalized patient’s after-hours, weekends and holidays, approximately 1 week out of 6. Bonus pay is given when this is required.

You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, work with dogs & cats, and lift up to 50 lbs. Punctuality, reliability, honesty, and the ability to work independently as well as part of an efficient team are required.

Our Practice is primarily paper-less, knowledge of computers, typing and experience with office programs and email are essential.
