About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and values teamwork and high-quality patient care.

What you’ll do

• Provide compassionate patient care and use Fear Free handling techniques.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Collect samples and perform in-house diagnostics, including cytology, blood smears, urinalysis, and fecal examinations.
• Diagnostic and dental radiographs.
• Assist with dental procedures, surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and medical treatments.
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain organized treatment areas.
• Fill prescriptions, including controlled medications, following clinic protocols and applicable regulations.
• Communicate with pet parents about patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient patient flow.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and teammates to provide excellent care.

• Previous veterinary hospital experience and strong technical skills.
• A passion for animal care and compassionate, high-quality medicine.
• Knowledge of Fear Free techniques or a willingness to learn.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
