Veterinary Technician/Assistant

We’re looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our growing veterinary practice. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Perform laboratory testing and collect diagnostic samples.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical preparation and recovery.
• Obtain patient histories and accurately maintain medical records.
• Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and treatment plans.
• Proper restraint of patients, while also maintaining a low-stress environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.

Qualifications

• Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred, but experienced veterinary assistants with strong technical skills are HIGHLY encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic is required.
• Strong communication and client education skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Comfortable working with animals of all sizes.
