We are looking for a Junior Developer who builds software using AI coding tools. At Teras Core Technology we ship our SaaS products with Claude Code, Cursor and similar AI assistants, and we want someone who works the same way.

This is not a copy and paste job. You must be able to read the code the AI produces, test it properly, find the bug and fix it. If you enjoy shipping fast and learning fast, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Build features for our Laravel and Filament based SaaS products using AI coding assistants.

Write clear prompts and break bigger tasks into steps the AI can complete correctly.

Read and review every line of generated code before it goes near production.

Test your own work. Nothing is considered done until it has been tested.

Fix bugs and handle deployment on DigitalOcean using our GitHub Actions pipeline.

Build internal tools, prototypes and quick automations when the team needs them.

Work with the database, write queries and understand how the data fits together.

Document what you build so the next person can understand it.

Report progress honestly, including what is blocked.

Requirements

Basic to intermediate PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Understand databases, SQL and how a web application fits together.

Have used AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to build something real.

Comfortable with Git, GitHub and the command line.

Able to read code and explain what it does, not just generate it.

Willing to test properly and take ownership when something breaks.

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field, or self taught with projects to show.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Advantage: Laravel, Filament, Livewire, TailwindCSS, Alpine.js.

Advantage: experience deploying to a VPS or DigitalOcean.

Advantage: a GitHub profile or personal projects we can look at.

Salary of RM3,000 to RM4,000 per month depending on skill.
