VIBRO ROLLER OPERATOR

Job Summary

The Vibro Roller Operator is responsible for operating a vibratory roller to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with project specifications. The operator ensures proper compaction, safe equipment operation, and efficient completion of road construction, earthworks, and other site development activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate the vibro roller safely and efficiently for soil, aggregate, and asphalt compaction.
• Compact road subgrades, sub-base, base course, and asphalt pavement according to project specifications.
• Follow instructions from the site engineer, surveyor, and foreman regarding compaction requirements and work areas.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and check the engine, brakes, tires or drums, vibration system, lights, and other safety devices.
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical defects, unusual noises, leaks, or malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain proper rolling patterns, speed, vibration settings, and number of passes to achieve the required compaction.
• Coordinate with other equipment operators and construction personnel to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Keep the equipment clean and conduct basic preventive maintenance as required.
• Observe all site safety rules, traffic management procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Complete equipment inspection checklists, daily operating records, and other required reports.
• Park and secure the equipment properly after operations and report any incidents or equipment damage to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience operating a vibro roller or vibratory road roller in construction projects.
• Knowledge of road construction, earthworks, and compaction procedures.
• Ability to conduct basic equipment inspections and identify mechanical problems.
• Familiarity with construction site safety rules and proper use of PPE.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work under site conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends when required by the project.
• Must possess the appropriate driver's license or NC2 TESDA certification.

Pay: Php850.00 - Php900.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Santo Tomas, Batangas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• VIBRO ROLLER: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Professional driver's license (Required)
• NC2 TESDA CERTIFICATION (Required)
