Vibro Roller Operator

Job Summary

The Vibro Roller Operator is responsible for operating a vibratory roller to compact soil, gravel, aggregate, and asphalt materials during highway construction. The role ensures that road surfaces and foundations achieve the required compaction, stability, and smoothness in accordance with project specifications while observing proper equipment operation and site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a vibratory roller to compact soil, subgrade, subbase, base course, and asphalt pavement as required by the project.
• Ensure proper compaction of road surfaces according to project specifications and instructions from the site engineer.
• Follow the designated rolling pattern, speed, and number of passes to achieve the required compaction.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and check the engine, brakes, tires or drums, vibration system, lights, and other safety components.
• Monitor ground and surface conditions during compaction and report any defects or irregularities to the site supervisor.
• Coordinate with the site engineer, road roller operators, motor grader operators, and other construction personnel to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Observe safety procedures when operating near workers, moving vehicles, and other heavy equipment.
• Report mechanical problems, equipment defects, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and complete daily equipment operation records as required.
• Follow project safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php32,000.00 per month
