Vice President, AI, Software and Data Management

Responsibilities:

• Lead deep‑dive research on emerging AI (foundation models, agentic workflows, embodied AI, autonomous systems) and benchmark global players & academic breakthroughs.
• Decode AI business models, pricing, enterprise adoption, and ROI across verticals; translate tech capabilities into commercial pathways.
• Build rigorous TAM/SOM forecasting models and deliver data‑backed investment/partnership/acquisition recommendations.
• Monitor global AI regulations, data privacy, and geopolitical risks; assess impact on business and industry.
• Act as primary AI market intelligence advisor to the CEO/board – synthesize signals into compelling narratives for strategy, M&A, and product roadmap.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Product, and VC teams to embed insights into investment theses, partnerships, and go‑to‑market plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Business, Economics, Tech Strategy, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years in technology market research, strategic consulting, or corporate strategy, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML/deep tech.
• Deep understanding of the AI value chain (infrastructure → models → enterprise apps → edge). Proven ability to assess commercial viability of cutting‑edge AI.
• Track record of advising C‑level/boards on AI strategy in volatile, fast‑moving markets.
• Strong leadership – built and led high‑performing research teams with hybrid tech/business skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience at a top‑tier tech strategy consultancy or specialised AI research/advisory firm.
• Published thought leadership (whitepapers, recognised expertise) on AI market dynamics and technology foresight.
