Your position

Apricum’s M&A advisory business is experiencing positive growth. We are looking for a Vice President to join our M&A advisory team. This role carries a strong business development component: alongside the Managing Partner, you will be expected to actively originate and cultivate new client relationships in addition to executing live transactions.

Currently, this role is home-based and ideally located in Germany, in or near Berlin, working closely — in person as needed and virtually day-to-day — with colleagues across our team and our senior advisor network. For an outstanding candidate, we would consider other European locations. You will work for blue-chip global corporates, investment funds, and growth companies in asset and corporate M&A, or private capital markets, in close collaboration with the Managing Partner.

Apricum prioritizes collaboration and trust, and we invest in regular in-person gatherings to keep that culture strong despite our distributed way of working.

Your profile

• You have a 5–10-year track record of corporate finance excellence. Transaction management and structuring experience is key. Project finance experience does not qualify
• You come from a respected bank or M&A advisory boutique and are focused exclusively on corporate M&A transactions
• You are strong in valuation, organization, attention to detail, and transaction processes, with proven transaction experience
• Near-native proficiency in German is mandatory, and professional proficiency in English is required
• We prioritize cultural fit and attitude
• We succeed due to our high standards and require evidence that you share these standards
• Strong interest in energy-related topics and enthusiasm for the energy transition
