Vice President - Middle Office

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Middle Office functions, including trade capture, affirmation/confirmation, trade allocation, exception management, and position reconciliation.

• Serve as the primary operational liaison for Front Office traders, portfolio managers, prime brokers, and custodian banks to resolve complex trade execution or booking discrepancies.

• Ensure accurate and timely valuation inputs, corporate actions monitoring, and performance/p&l tracking support.

• Develop, enhance, and enforce operational risk frameworks, control mechanisms, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Monitor portfolio limits, counterparty exposures, and trade lifecycle exceptions to minimize operational losses.

• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure full alignment with regulatory mandates.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.
• At least 8 years of financial services experience within Middle Office, Operations, or Risk Management roles, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity.
• Extensive familiarity with a broad range of asset classes (e.g., Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, OTC & Listed Derivatives, Private Credit).
• Proficiency with trading and operations platforms and advanced data/analytics tools.
