About the Opportunity

Demandforce is seeking an experienced Vice President of Strategy to support the development and growth of a subsidiary operation in Miami, Florida. This leadership position will play an important role in establishing the subsidiary's strategic direction, evaluating new business opportunities, and building a scalable framework for long-term growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable strategic initiatives. This role is well suited for an executive who combines strategic thinking, market analysis, operational judgment, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the subsidiary's short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, strategic priorities, and potential new business initiatives.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Evaluate potential partnerships, market expansion opportunities, new products, and emerging business models.
• Establish strategic planning frameworks, performance indicators, and reporting processes for the Miami operation.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, marketing, business development, technology, and other functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
• Prepare business cases, financial assessments, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
• Monitor industry developments and identify trends that may create opportunities or risks for the business.
• Support the development of annual and multi-year business plans.
• Help establish scalable organizational processes as the Miami subsidiary expands.
• Provide strategic guidance to functional leaders and help maintain alignment across key business initiatives.
• Present recommendations, business performance insights, and strategic updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, management consulting, business development, corporate development, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a senior leadership or executive-level strategy position preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategies in growing or evolving organizations.
• Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive positioning, financial evaluation, and strategic planning.
• Experience working across multiple business functions and managing complex strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, functional leaders, external partners, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting the launch, expansion, or development of a new business unit, subsidiary, or regional operation.
• Experience working with technology-enabled businesses, SaaS platforms, digital services, financial technology, or other rapidly evolving industries.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and new digital business models is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000–$280,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and other applicable factors.

Miami Subsidiary

This position is specifically being recruited to support a subsidiary operation being established in Miami, Florida. The Vice President of Strategy will contribute to the development of the new operation and help establish its strategic priorities, organizational framework, and long term growth plans.
