About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with Victoria AU experience to join our team in a full-time capacity. Based in Taytay, Rizal, this role offers a strategic opportunity to contribute to our construction estimating operations. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and project analyses that inform critical business decisions and project planning. This position is fundamental to ensuring project profitability and maintaining our competitive edge in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications, plans, and blueprints
• Analysing project requirements and determining material quantities, labour costs, and equipment needs
• Liaising with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations
• Reviewing tender documents and contract specifications to ensure comprehensive cost coverage
• Utilising estimating software and tools to generate professional estimate documentation
• Monitoring and tracking actual costs against estimates to identify variances and improve future accuracy
• Preparing bid proposals and quotations for potential clients and projects
• Maintaining detailed records of estimates, historical data, and cost databases for reference and analysis
• Communicating estimate findings and recommendations to senior management and project teams

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with demonstrated expertise in Victoria AU projects and building codes
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to Victoria
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple disciplines
• Experience in cost analysis, project planning, and budget management
• Professional qualification or certification in quantity surveying, estimating, or construction management (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
