Victorian Conveyancing Assistant

About the role

ApexBridge Inc. is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support an Australian client with Victorian property conveyancing matters. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Australian conveyancing processes and is familiar with PEXA and Duties Online. This role is suited to someone who understands Victorian property transactions, is detail-oriented, and can work independently while supporting an Australian-based team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Victorian residential property conveyancing matters
• Prepare, review, and manage conveyancing documentation
• Assist with property settlements through PEXA
• Process land transfer duty and related transactions using Duties Online
• Coordinate with clients, solicitors, lenders, real estate agents, and other relevant parties
• Monitor settlement dates, deadlines, and outstanding requirements
• Maintain accurate electronic files and transaction records
• Provide administrative support throughout the conveyancing process

About you

• Previous experience supporting Australian conveyancing matters
• Practical experience with Victorian conveyancing procedures
• Familiarity with PEXA and Duties Online
• Understanding of Victorian land transfer duty and settlement requirements
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Availability to work Australian business hours
