Video & Image Research Engineer

Responsibilities

Research and development in one (or more) of the projects below:

1. Keep abreast of the latest advanced technology and development trends in the media industry, and continuously innovate and breakthrough based on classic algorithms and AI core technologies required for media information flow with customer application scenarios as hypotheses.
2. Engage in AIGC algorithm research in the field of image/video, improve user satisfaction of mobile computational photography, achieve the leading technological competitiveness of the company in the media field, and create ultimate user experience in areas such as photography, video, and image post-processing.
3. Collaborate closely with researchers and product teams to help them improve algorithm development activities and integrate solutions into the product.
4. Write and submit patentable inventions or research papers (at top-tier conferences).

Professional Knowledge

Research and development in one (or more) of the projects below:

1. Experience in algorithm development in the field of image processing, and those with rich experience in the implementation of computer vision (CV) technology or outstanding academic contributions in the CV field are preferred.
2. Proficient in multi-modal image and video perception and understanding, image restoration, image and video editing, and familiar with the principles of computational photography and high dynamic range color display.
3. Solid mathematical foundation, proficient in diffusion model principles, familiar with existing image and video related AIGC algorithms, and proficient in StyleGAN, DDPM, StableDiffusion and controllable generation related technologies.

Requirements

1. PhD or Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering, related Machine Learning field, or equivalent relevant experience; Experience with AIGC algorithms is preferred;
2. Proficient in python or C++, deep understanding in common algorithms and data structures.
3. Strong publication record ( top conferences or journals in the related fields) demonstrating innovative research.
4. Fulfill at least one of the requirements below:

• Solid understanding in AI for Algorithm engineering.

• Experienced in deep learning and machine learning. Familiar with at least one framework (e.g. pytorch/tensorflow).
