Video Conferencing Engineer

Summary

Provide support for enterprise Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual collaboration environments, including Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Collaboration, Poly endpoints, Q-SYS, Crestron, and Extron solutions. Responsible for troubleshooting AV/VC issues, meeting room operations, VIP/VVIP support, incident and change management, preventive maintenance, monitoring, RCA, documentation, and automation to ensure high availability and seamless collaboration services in a 24x7 support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Zoom Rooms, Cisco Video Conferencing, and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, content sharing, camera, microphone, codec, and connectivity issues.
• Support Poly Studio X52, X72, G7500, and G62 endpoints.
• Manage and support Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS integrated AV solutions.
• Perform room commissioning, firmware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and health checks.
• Monitor meeting room infrastructure and proactively resolve service-impacting issues.
• Support VIP/VVIP meetings and business-critical events.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem tickets within SLA targets.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for issue resolution and service improvements.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Video Conferencing, Unified Communications, and Audio-Visual support environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.
• 24x7 shift-based support, on-call rotation, and major incident management.
