Video editing Interns/Juniors

Vidwip is an AI video creation platform that helps turn ideas and existing content into engaging, ready-to-publish videos.

We’re looking for a Video Clipping Intern who understands internet culture, catches trends early, and knows what makes short-form content go viral.

What you’ll do

• Research viral editing trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms
• Spot trending memes, hooks, transitions, captions, pacing, effects and video formats
• Identify why certain videos perform well and turn those patterns into reusable templates
• Use Vidwip and other AI tools to generate and experiment with AI videos
• Write strong creative prompts to consistently generate high-quality, engaging video outputs
• Add successful editing styles and concepts to our content library
• Update templates quickly as trends change
• Maintain a library of viral references, memes, editing styles and creative concepts
• Work closely with the product team to turn emerging trends into Vidwip features

What we’re looking for

• Strong creative prompting skills are required
• Deep understanding of short-form video and internet culture
• Strong instinct for virality and what makes people stop scrolling
• Understands memes, internet humor, hooks and cultural trends
• Able to catch emerging trends early rather than after they become saturated
• Strong eye for editing, pacing, storytelling and visual style
• Comfortable experimenting with AI video and image generation tools
• Fast-moving and comfortable testing lots of creative ideas
• Bonus: experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools

Ideal person

You probably spend a lot of time on TikTok, Reels, X or YouTube and naturally notice when a new meme, editing style or content format starts appearing everywhere.

You should be someone who can look at a viral video and quickly understand why it worked, how to recreate the format with AI, and how to make it even better.

What you’ll learn

You’ll work directly with an AI video startup and learn how viral content formats are discovered, recreated and turned into scalable AI video products.

This is a great role for someone interested in AI, creative prompting, video editing, memes, content creation and internet culture.
