Video Editor & Camera Operator

Web Wisez is hiring a creative and skilled Video Editor with Camera Handling Knowledge to join our content production team in Chennai.

We are looking for someone passionate about video editing, professional video shooting, storytelling, and social media content creation.

Experience is not a restriction. We prioritize creativity, technical skills, quality of output, and the ability to deliver results over years of experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form YouTube videos, promotional videos, podcasts, and advertisements.
• Handle DSLR/Mirrorless cameras for indoor and outdoor video shoots.
• Manage camera settings, framing, composition, lighting, and basic audio recording.
• Perform professional video editing, including cuts, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and B-roll integration.
• Apply color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.
• Create engaging social media videos aligned with current trends.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to plan and execute video shoots.
• Organize raw footage, project files, and final video deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos.

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Basic knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless camera operations.
• Understanding of lighting, camera angles, framing, and audio recording.
• Ability to edit both short-form and long-form video content.
• Strong creative thinking and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Adobe After Effects and basic motion graphics.
• Podcast recording and multicamera editing.
• YouTube video production and thumbnail design.
• Experience creating social media advertisements.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted video editing tools.

Salary & Selection Process
