As we expand our brand presence across TikTok Shop, Shopee, and other social commerce platforms, we are looking for an energetic, creative, and trend-sensitive Video Editor & Content Creator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, shoot, and edit compelling short-form video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and e-commerce product pages.
• Brainstorm and develop creative hooks, scripts, visual storyboards, and content angles around beauty, fragrance, personal care, and fashion items.
• Stay on top of viral trends, trending audio, and algorithmic best practices across TikTok and Southeast Asian social platforms.
• Manage end-to-end video post-production, including footage assembly, pacing, color correction, sound effects, subtitles, and motion graphics.
• Work closely with the e-commerce marketing team to optimize video conversion metrics (retention, click-through rate, and sales conversion).
• Coordinate with internal teams and Chinese-speaking colleagues on creative briefs, product assets, and project deadlines.
• Organize and maintain media libraries, raw footage, and reusable creative assets.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of proven experience in video editing, short-form content creation, or social media video production (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply).
• Required language: Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) is required to facilitate daily communication and work coordination with internal Chinese-speaking colleagues; good command of English or Bahasa Malaysia is also needed to interact with local audiences.
• Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop / Canva) are an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce video dynamics, especially what drives views and purchases in the beauty and lifestyle sectors.
• Keen eye for visual aesthetics, rhythm, sound design, and mobile-first composition.
• Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, and proactive in bringing new creative ideas to the table.
• A portfolio or links to published video works (TikTok, Instagram, or Google Drive) is required for review.
