Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist who can transform long-form content such as podcasts, webinars, and interviews into engaging short-form content for social media. The role focuses on storytelling, retention, and efficient content repurposing to maximize the value and reach of existing content.

Key responsibilities

• Edit podcasts, webinars, interviews, and long-form videos.
• Repurpose long-form content into Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Identify strong moments, hooks, and key messages for short-form content.
• Create engaging subtitles, captions, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
• Apply retention-focused editing to improve watch time and engagement.
• Create basic video thumbnails.
• Organize and manage video assets, footage, and project files.
• Collaborate with Content Strategists and Creative teams to execute content concepts.
• Optimize videos based on social media trends and performance insights.

About you

• Experience as a Video Editor, Short-form Video Editor, or Content Creator.
• Proficient in at least one professional editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficient in CapCut.
• Good understanding of video storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention editing.
• Basic knowledge of Motion Graphics.
• Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Able to adapt editing styles to different brands, audiences, and platforms.
• Able to work efficiently with multiple content and editing deadlines.
• Portfolio is required.
