We're looking for someone who doesn't just edit videos—they understand storytelling, pacing and how to make people stop scrolling.

The Role

We're looking for a creative editor who can transform raw footage into compelling content for Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

You'll work closely with the founder to develop a consistent visual identity that feels premium, authentic and emotionally engaging.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit longer-form interviews and conversations.
• Select and integrate relevant B-roll, stock footage and motion graphics where appropriate.
• Create engaging openings that capture attention within the first few seconds.
• Add captions, text overlays and graphics that enhance the story.
• Ensure every video aligns with AskNama's premium brand aesthetic.
• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple platform-specific versions.
• Organise footage and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
• Suggest creative improvements rather than simply following instructions.

What We're Looking For

• Strong storytelling ability.
• Excellent sense of pacing and rhythm.
• Experience editing founder or personal brand content.
• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Good eye for colour grading and sound design.
• Ability to source tasteful B-roll when needed.
• Comfortable giving creative input and making recommendations.
• Reliable with deadlines and communication.

Bonus Skills

• Experience directing shoots.
• Basic motion graphics (After Effects).
• Photography or videography experience.
• Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube content strategies.
• Experience working with premium or luxury brands.
