Furtados School of Music (FSM) is a leading music and performing arts education organisation, bringing music and performing arts experiences to children and institutions across India.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to produce engaging content for FSM's marketing and digital platforms, including social media, events, student stories, performances, testimonials and campaigns.

The role will also involve shoot support and content capture for events, recitals, school programmes and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Create Reels, testimonials, interviews, event highlights, student stories and campaign videos.
• Add captions, titles, motion graphics, transitions and visual effects.
• Contribute creative ideas for video concepts and storytelling.
• Support shoots and capture video/photo content when required.
• Work with the marketing and creative teams on content requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Maintain organised project files and final outputs.

Required Tools

• DaVinci Resolve – Strong proficiency
• After Effects – Working knowledge
• Canva – Good working knowledge
• AI Content Tools – Familiarity with tools such as Freepik AI and OpenArt AI

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in video editing/content production.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and visual communication.
• Experience creating short-form social media content, especially Reels.
• Basic photography and videography skills.
• Good understanding of social media formats and trends.
• Creative mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good to have: Experience in education, entertainment, music, lifestyle or youth-focused brands, along with event/performance videography experience.
