Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 3 months to 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro, a basic to intermediate understanding of Canva (for graphics and basic animations), and a passion for video storytelling. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a strong plus.

In this role, you will create engaging, high-quality video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content optimized for platforms like YouTube, Instagram (Reels), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Assemble audio, visual effects, motion graphics, and text overlays into polished final videos.
• Create visually appealing graphics, animated titles, and overlays using Canva and editing software.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements, storyboards, and brand guidelines.
• Trim and sync audio, apply color grading, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Maintain organized video project files and assets.
• Stay updated on current video editing trends, social media formats, and visual techniques.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3 months to 1 year of hands-on video editing experience (internships, freelance, or full-time roles).
• Software Proficiency:
• High proficiency in CapCut (Desktop/Mobile).
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Canva (for quick graphic design, asset creation, and simple animations).
• Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, aspect ratios, sound editing, and color correction.
• Attention to detail, creative thinking, and a good sense of timing and rhythm.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Portfolio/Showreel: A strong portfolio or link to recent video editing work demonstrating skills in CapCut and Premiere Pro is required.

Bonus / Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics, text animations, visual effects) is a major plus.
• Basic understanding of short-form social media algorithms and visual hook strategies.
