About the Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content while maintaining consistency with the company's creative direction and brand standards.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, editing techniques, motion graphics, and current video content trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video content in line with project objectives, timelines, and required specifications.
• Review raw footage and select the most effective shots, sequences, and audio elements.
• Create engaging and visually compelling videos while maintaining strong storytelling and narrative flow.
• Incorporate transitions, sound effects, music, graphics, animations, and visual effects as required.
• Ensure all final content meets established quality, branding, and technical standards.
• Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective visual solutions.
• Review and refine edits based on feedback while ensuring consistency across multiple projects.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Stay updated with emerging video editing techniques, social media trends, motion graphics, and content formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent video editing software.
• Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation, transitions, visual effects, and audio editing.
• Excellent understanding of visual composition, pacing, colour correction, and storytelling.
• Strong creative thinking and an eye for detail.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into polished and engaging video content.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Portfolio showcasing previous video editing, motion graphics, animation, or visual effects work.
