Video Editor*

Job Purpose:

To create compelling and engaging video content for broadcast, streaming, social media and digital platforms by applying storytelling, editing and post-production techniques. The role supports multi-platform content delivery through efficient use of editing technologies, AI-assisted tools and modern production workflows.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Edit video content for television, streaming, social media, digital and on-demand platforms in accordance with editorial and production requirements.
2. Apply storytelling principles, visual continuity, pacing and creative editing techniques to enhance audience engagement and content effectiveness.
3. Perform content assembly, video finishing, colour correction, audio synchronization, graphics integration and final programme preparation.
4. Utilize AI-assisted production tools to support content logging, transcription, subtitling, translation, content repurposing and workflow automation while ensuring editorial quality and accuracy.
5. Manage and prepare media assets for multi-platform delivery, archive, reuse and distribution, supporting the "Produce Once, Distribute Everywhere" content strategy.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Diploma or above in Media Production, Broadcasting, Film, Multimedia or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in video editing, post-production or content production environments.
• Proficiency in non-linear editing systems such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools, media asset management systems, digital content workflows and multi-platform content delivery is an advantage.
• Good storytelling, creativity, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under tight production deadlines.
