Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality and engaging video content.
• Review and select the best footage, images, audio, and other media assets.
• Create videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
• Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, captions, transitions, and visual effects.
• Correct video colour, lighting, audio quality, and other technical elements.
• Create promotional videos, advertisements, presentations, interviews, and event coverage.
• Work with presenters, content creators, photographers, and marketing teams to develop video content.
• Follow scripts, storyboards, briefs, and brand guidelines when editing videos.
• Produce different video formats and sizes suitable for various platforms.
• Organize and maintain video files, footage, project files, and digital assets.
• Ensure all completed videos are properly reviewed before publication.
• Make revisions based on feedback from management or the content/marketing team.
• Keep up with current video-editing trends, social media formats, and creative techniques.
• Assist with filming and recording when required.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience
• A minimum of a degree in a related field
