Job Summary

We are looking for a sharp, creative, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our audio-visual team. You ll play a key role in crafting compelling content for Value Research s digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and other social channels. From investor education videos to podcasts and fund manager interviews, your work will help us inform, inspire, and engage a growing audience interested in personal finance and smart investing.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation Post-Production: Ideation for videos on personal finance. Edit with logical sequencing, pacing and narrative clarity on explainers, short-form and podcast content. On long-form interviews, work from a producers cut plan and build the layer that carries a viewer through it: animated charts, motion graphics, montages, supers, music and sound design. Support shoots and studio recordings.
• Multimedia Formats: Create investor education explainers, short-form videos, reels, fund manager interviews, podcasts, and webinars.
• Publishing: Upload and publish finished content to YouTube, Instagram and our other social platforms.
• Bilingual Production: Produce and edit high-quality content in both English and Hindi.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and technical teams during pre- and post-production.
• Digital Savvy: Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific styles (YouTube, Shorts, Instagram, etc) to improve content quality continually.
• Brand Growth: Help strengthen our digital presence by creating content that educates, entertains, and retains new audiences.

Requirements

• Experience: Up to 3-4 years of experience (internships included) in video editing or multimedia production.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential.
• On-screen Data: Comfort working with data on screen. Animating and placing the charts the graphics team supplies, and building simple ones where a data point has none.
• AI Tools: Comfort working with AI video and image generation tools, and judgement about where they belong in finance content.
• Language: Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi (written and spoken).
• Production Know-how: Understanding of video editing, basic shooting techniques, special effects, and compositing workflows.
• Soft Skills: Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities, time management, and an eye for detail.
• Passion: A genuine interest in personal finance and digital content creation.
