Video Editor

Location: DHA Phase 5, Lahore
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Working Hours: Monday–Friday | 10:30 AM–6:30 PM

Responsibilities
* Edit long-form videos for YouTube and other digital platforms.
* Organize and edit raw footage into structured, engaging, and professionally paced videos.
* Create a strong narrative flow while maintaining audience engagement throughout the video.
* Perform cutting, sequencing, transitions, B-roll placement, and visual storytelling.
* Add and synchronize music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, graphics, and other visual elements where required.
* Improve audio quality and maintain consistent audio levels throughout videos.
* Use appropriate visual effects, animations, and graphics to enhance the content without distracting from the main message.
* Review footage carefully and identify the strongest takes and moments for the final edit.
* Follow creative briefs, editing guidelines, and specific client requirements.
* Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final video meets quality standards.
* Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
* Maintain organized project files, footage, and assets.
* Stay updated with current video-editing techniques, YouTube content trends, and audience-retention practices.
* Collaborate with the Creative and Content teams to understand concepts and deliver the required final output.
* Perform other video-content-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements
* 1 year of relevant video editing experience preferred.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating long-form video editing.
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sequencing, and visual composition.
* Good knowledge of audio editing, sound design, music placement, and voiceover synchronization.
* Ability to work with raw footage and develop a complete video from start to finish.
* Understanding of B-roll, A-roll, jump cuts, transitions, graphics, and visual effects.
