Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with at least 2 years of experience in editing engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video storytelling, visual composition, transitions, sound design, and pacing, with the ability to convert raw footage and creative briefs into compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other platforms.
• Work on short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, and long-form content as per business requirements.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, visual effects, subtitles, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Review feedback and make revisions to ensure the final output meets expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, and visual effects will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, colour correction, sound editing, and export settings.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work is required.
