FounderCreated builds founder brands - fully done-for-you, for founders and CEOs doing $2M+ in revenue. Founders give us one shoot day a month; we handle everything after: strategy, scripting, editing, and posting.

We're looking for a Junior Video Editor to learn this from the inside, working directly alongside our co-founders:

• Wilson has built and sold multiple companies using content as the growth engine, including growing his own personal account from scratch using the exact system you'd be working inside.
• Chris has personally coached 600+ founders, entrepreneurs, creators one-on-one, including through teaching at a leading content creator academy.

This isn't a course. It's a working seat next to the people who do this for real, on real client accounts, from day one.

What You'll Do

• Edit content across a range of client projects and personal brands, adapting your style to each one's voice and audience
• Create short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that hook viewers in the first few seconds and keep them watching
• Cut and assemble long-form YouTube videos, including pacing, b-roll, sound design, captions, and basic motion graphics
• Turn raw footage and scripts into polished, on-brand content
• Work with the team and clients on feedback and revisions, often on quick turnarounds
• Stay current on trends, formats, and editing styles across platforms

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of social-first editing experience (required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut
• A strong portfolio of short-form videos that shows good pacing, hooks, and trend awareness
• Experience editing long-form YouTube videos, including an understanding of retention and viewer engagement
• The ability to work reliably under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment: you adapt quickly to changing priorities, juggle multiple projects at once, and take initiative without needing step-by-step direction
• Able to switch styles between clients and creators while keeping each one's brand consistent
• Able to work on-site at our Vancouver studio
• Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback
• Good communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have

• Social media experience (managing, posting to, or growing accounts)
• Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics tools
• Basic color correction and audio cleanup skills
• Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram analytics and what drives watch time
• Experience with content planning tools (e.g. Notion, ClickUp)
• Experience editing for agencies, creators, or personal brands
