Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality video content for social media, digital marketing, branding, and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics, pacing, and current video trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Create engaging short-form and long-form video content.
• Handle video cutting, sequencing, transitions, colour correction, sound editing, and subtitles.
• Add motion graphics, text animations, effects, music, and visual elements as required.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to understand content requirements.
• Ensure videos follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual quality.
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple formats and social-media-friendly content.
• Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, transitions, and content formats.
• Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and creative assets.
• Deliver projects within defined timelines while maintaining quality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, resolution, and social-media specifications.
• Strong sense of timing, composition, typography, music, and storytelling.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creativity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Film Making, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in video editing.
• A strong portfolio/showreel is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Creative and trend-aware.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to independently handle projects from raw footage to final output.
• Experience creating Reels/short-form content will be an added advantage.
