Job Summary:
We're putting out a call for a skilled Video Editor to produce engaging short-form video content, with Instagram Reels as the main focus. You'll edit raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content that matches a distinct brand style and the needs of several client accounts. The right match is experienced in short-form editing, flexible across creative directions, and comfortable taking on related digital marketing and social media tasks as needs change each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form video content, focusing on Instagram Reels
• Adjust your editing style to fit established brand aesthetics and creative direction
• Hand off finished, ready-to-publish video files for review and approval
• Manage content for multiple client accounts with varying styles and requirements
• Take on extra social media and digital marketing tasks when video volume is lighter
• Assist with copywriting, email content, or basic marketing support when needed
• Submit end-of-shift reports summarizing your completed work
• Track your time accurately with shared tracking tools
• Adjust turnaround for urgent video requests as needed

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience editing short-form video for Instagram Reels or similar platforms
• Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, captions, and short-form video trends
• Ability to follow and replicate a defined brand style
• Attentive, conscientious, and independent
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools
• Copywriting or social media caption writing experience
• Familiarity with podcast or long-form audio/video editing
• Experience handling content for several clients or brands at once
• Understanding of Instagram growth and engagement best practices
• Ability to keep several projects moving at once
