Job Overview

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at SocialSharings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, and editing techniques to create engaging video content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.
• Create engaging short-form content, including Reels, Shorts, and other social media videos.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music where required.
• Ensure consistent video quality, pacing, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand creative briefs and deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently.
• Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and final exports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent editing software.
• Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow creative briefs.
• Good time management and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
