Video Editor

We're hiring a Video Editor for full-length productions at CREWcasts by SKDIV. Remote.

Every week CREWcasts records an hour-long conversations with a streamer, creator, artist or founder, multi-cam in our Zetland studio or remote over Discord. We're looking for an editor who can turn that hour into an episode people watch to the end.

You'll own the long-form edit from raw footage to final export, for CREWcasts and for the shows and productions Skdiv.Studios makes for clients.

What you'll do

• Cut multi-camera episodes, up to four angles in 4K, into full-length videos for YouTube

• Build the cold open, intro and chapters, and cut for story and pace while keeping each guest's personality intact

• Sync remote episodes, including guests' own local recordings, so a Discord episode looks and sounds as good as a studio one

• Produce the audio version for Spotify and Apple Podcasts, cleaned, mixed and mastered to platform loudness

• Colour-correct and match cameras, or grade to a show's signature look

• Add titles, lower thirds, animated intros and outros, B-roll, sound design and music where they serve the story

• Edit full-length client work for Skdiv.Studios, from branded podcasts to brand films and event videos

• Deliver the audio cut first and the full edit on schedule, and turn revision rounds around quickly

• Keep projects, assets and exports organised so anyone on the team can pick them up

What you'll bring

• Professional experience, with a portfolio of full-length work, whole episodes, interviews or documentaries, not only reels

• Advanced Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, including multi-cam

• Motion graphics in After Effects

• Podcast-quality audio, from clean-up to mastering

• Solid colour correction and grading

• Story instinct, knowing what to cut so an hour holds from the first minute to the last

• Experience editing long-form for retention on YouTube

• The range to cut a high-energy gaming episode one week and a polished founder interview the next

• Reliable and self-directed, meeting weekly deadlines from wherever you are

Nice to have

• You know gaming, streaming, cosplay, art or creator culture, in-jokes included

• Commercial or brand campaign experience

• Retention or growth results from long-form work you've edited

• AI-assisted workflows that save time without lowering the finish
