Video Editor

Role & responsibilities:

• Edit engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Work closely with Marketing, Content, and Design teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality videos.
• Edit Reels, short-form videos, brand videos, promotional videos, product explainers, interviews, and campaign content.
• Create engaging cuts, transitions, animations, subtitles, effects, and sound design as required.
• Add basic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure videos align with PerAnnum.money's brand identity, tone, and visual language.
• Work with raw footage and independently identify the best shots, sequences, and storytelling flow.
• Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, formats, and content trends.
• Re-purpose long-form content into short-form, platform-friendly content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of short-form content and social media video formats.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation will be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, typography, and music selection.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and convert ideas into compelling visual content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight timelines.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work is mandatory.
