Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to create engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.

The candidate will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce professional videos for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.
• Create promotional videos, brand videos, advertisements, and social media content.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
• Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, audio enhancement, and video cleanup.
• Follow client briefs, brand guidelines, and creative directions.
• Create attention-grabbing hooks and maintain good pacing and storytelling throughout videos.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop new editing styles and content ideas.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Revise videos based on client feedback and maintain quality standards.
• Organize project files, footage, assets, and final exports properly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is an advantage.
• Understanding of colour correction, audio editing, typography, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media video formats.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and follow references accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience editing videos for digital marketing agencies, brands, or content creators.
• Knowledge of cinematic editing, commercial ads, UGC videos, and promotional content.
• Ability to create clean, modern, and professional motion graphics.
• Understanding of social media trends, audience retention, and engaging video formats.
• Basic knowledge of AI-powered video editing tools is a plus.
