Video Editor

Job Summary:

The Video Editor is responsible for editing, enhancing, and producing high-quality video content for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and other company projects. The role involves transforming raw footage into engaging visual content that aligns with the company's brand guidelines, creative direction, and project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content.
• Create video content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels.
• Add transitions, visual effects, animations, subtitles, captions, background music, and sound effects as needed.
• Ensure that videos meet the required format, resolution, duration, aspect ratio, and platform specifications.
• Collaborate with the creative team, content creators, marketing team, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Review and revise video outputs based on feedback from supervisors, clients, or other authorized personnel.
• Ensure consistency in video quality, branding, visual style, and overall presentation.
• Organize, maintain, and manage video files, project files, raw footage, and other digital assets.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of assigned video editing projects in accordance with established deadlines.
• Monitor current video editing trends, techniques, and social media content formats to improve engagement and content quality.
• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and other post-production tasks to improve the overall quality of videos.
• Ensure that all video materials comply with company policies, copyright requirements, and applicable content guidelines.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of company files, client materials, and other sensitive information.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
• Qualifications and Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of video editing techniques, transitions, color correction, audio synchronization, and basic motion graphics.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of visual storytelling.
• Ability to follow creative briefs, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• A portfolio of previous video editing work is an advantage.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
