Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for various platforms, and ensuring a cohesive visual narrative that aligns with client and internal creative briefs. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions and sound, applying color grading, and incorporating motion graphics or basic graphic elements as needed. The role involves close collaboration with the creative team and clients to refine concepts, maintain brand consistency, and deliver projects within deadlines. The Video Editor will also assist in organizing media assets, managing project files, and staying updated on industry trends and editing techniques.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong skills in Video Color Grading with an understanding of visual tone, mood, and consistency.
• Experience creating Motion Graphics and basic Graphics for video content (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, or equivalent tools).
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition for digital and social media platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and client teams, take feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant training or education in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kathmandu and adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and creative trends.
