Job Summary

The Video Editor is responsible for editing, enhancing, and producing high-quality video content for the company's marketing, branding, training, sales, and corporate communication initiatives. The role focuses on transforming raw footage, audio recordings, graphics, and other multimedia assets into engaging and polished video outputs that align with company objectives, brand standards, and audience expectations. The position requires strong technical editing skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality video content within established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing and Post-Production

1.1 Edit and produce promotional, corporate, training, testimonial, event, and social media videos based on project requirements.

1.2 Enhance video content through color correction, audio balancing, transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, animations, and visual effects.

1.3 Synchronize video footage, audio recordings, voiceovers, music, and other visual elements to ensure smooth and cohesive presentations.

1.4 Ensure all edited videos meet established quality standards, project specifications, and submission deadlines.

2. Video Content Enhancement

2.1 Organize and arrange raw footage, audio recordings, graphics, and other multimedia assets into engaging visual narratives.

2.2 Apply appropriate editing techniques, pacing, transitions, and visual effects to improve video flow and audience engagement.

2.3 Incorporate revisions, feedback, and requested modifications into video outputs while maintaining the intended message and creative direction.

2.4 Optimize video formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and file sizes according to the intended platform and distribution requirements.

3. Quality Assurance and Brand Consistency

3.1 Review edited videos for technical accuracy, visual consistency, audio clarity, caption accuracy, grammar, and overall presentation.

3.2 Ensure all video outputs follow the company's branding guidelines, visual standards, and communication requirements.

3.3 Verify the accuracy of video content, text overlays, subtitles, graphics, and other incorporated elements before final submission.

3.4 Conduct final quality checks to ensure that all video deliverables are complete, polished, and ready for publication or distribution.

4. Video File and Asset Management

4.1 Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, edited videos, audio recordings, graphics, and other editing resources.

4.2 Maintain proper file naming, folder organization, version control, backup, and archiving of video projects.

4.3 Ensure that project files and multimedia assets are accessible and properly stored for future revisions and reuse.

4.4 Monitor the availability and proper use of editing software, templates, and other resources necessary for video production and post-production.

5. Project Coordination and Continuous Improvement

5.1 Coordinate with the Marketing Team and other requesting departments to clarify video editing requirements, output specifications, and project deadlines.

5.2 Monitor assigned video editing tasks and provide updates on project progress, pending revisions, and completed deliverables.

5.3 Stay updated with video editing software, post-production techniques, industry standards, and emerging video content trends.

5.4 Identify opportunities to improve editing workflows, production quality, and overall efficiency while performing other related video editing duties as assigned by Management.

Pay: From Php22,000.00 per month
