Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, typically 30–60 seconds long.
• Create engaging edits from raw footage, including talking-head videos, property tours, investment insights, and real estate market updates.
• Develop strong opening hooks in the first 3–5 seconds to capture viewers' attention.
• Add professional subtitles, animated text, transitions, sound effects, background music, and relevant visual elements.
• Source suitable property footage, stock videos, maps, images, and supporting visuals to enhance storytelling.
• Create a premium, modern, and professional visual style suitable for a UAE real estate investment brand.
• Edit videos about Dubai and Abu Dhabi property markets, investment opportunities, new developments, infrastructure projects, and lifestyle destinations.
• Use zooms, cuts, B-roll, motion graphics, and visual storytelling to maintain viewer retention.
• Select appropriate background music and sound effects to improve the viewing experience.
• Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form videos.
• Follow content briefs, brand guidelines, and deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
• Review video performance and apply learnings to improve future edits.
• Organise project files, raw footage, and final exports systematically.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics tools is an advantage.
• Experience editing vertical videos in 9:16 format.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts editing styles.
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, typography, music selection, and visual composition.
• Ability to create clean, accurate subtitles and professional animated text.
• Understanding of social media hooks, audience retention, and engagement techniques.
• Good English comprehension to understand scripts and follow editing instructions.
• Ability to research suitable footage and visual references online.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing real estate, finance, investment, business, or personal-brand content.
• Ability to create premium-looking videos with cinematic property visuals.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video editing and content creation tools.
• Basic knowledge of colour grading, audio enhancement, and motion graphics.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video editing skills.

Expected Deliverables

• Consistent production of approximately 20–30 short-form videos per month, depending on complexity and turnaround time.
• Videos formatted and optimised for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Professional subtitles, engaging hooks, relevant B-roll, music, and visual effects.
• Timely delivery of drafts and final versions.
• Reasonable revisions based on the agreed brief and feedback.
