Position: Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor

Location: Chennai, India (Work from Office)

Key Customers / Stakeholders: Product, Marketing and Design teams

Knowledge and Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in motion graphics and video editing

About the Role:

Soft Suave is a software company. We are looking for a motion

graphics artist and video editor to make our software and

products easy to understand and attractive to see. You will create

product demos, explainer videos, feature announcements, and

marketing videos. You will also use AI tools to speed up your work

and raise the quality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create explainer videos and product demos that show how our

software works.

· Animate app screens, dashboards, and user flows clearly and

smoothly.

· Make feature launch videos, release announcements, and promo

videos.

· Create videos for social media, the website, sales presentations,

and client pitches.

· Edit videos in Premiere Pro: cuts, pacing, audio, captions, colour,

and export.

· Build motion graphics in After Effects: text animation,

transitions, icons, and illustrated animation.

· Use AI video and image tools to generate shots and assets, and

combine them with After Effects work.

· Work in the office with the product, marketing, and design

teams to turn scripts and ideas into finished videos.

· Deliver on time in the right formats for each platform.

Work Related Competencies (Skill

set):

· A portfolio that includes software, SaaS, or tech product videos.

· Strong skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro.

· Good understanding of timing, easing, typography, and layout.

· Hands-on experience with AI video or image tools, and the ability

to explain how you used them.

· Good communication in English.

· Comfortable taking feedback and meeting deadlines.

· Ready to work from the office in Chennai and able to join within

a reasonable notice period.

Good to Have:

· Illustrator or Figma for preparing UI and vector assets.

· Experience animating from Figma designs.

· Basic sound design or voiceover editing.

· Basic 3D (Cinema 4D or Blender).
