Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our team and support the creation of engaging, high-quality video content across our outreach, communication, and digital activities. The role will involve editing and producing videos for social media, campaigns, events, educational content, and other organizational requirements.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound, and visual composition. They should be comfortable working on different types of editing requirements and adapting to different content formats, styles, and deadlines.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with professional video editing software and be comfortable working on challenging or complex editing requirements. They should also be open to using AI tools and new technologies to improve editing workflows, productivity, and creative output.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, campaigns, events, outreach, and other organizational requirements.
Work on both short-form and long-form video content as required.
Handle video editing from raw footage to the final output, including cutting, sequencing, transitions, sound, subtitles, graphics, and basic color correction.
Create engaging and visually appealing videos while maintaining consistency with the organization's communication and branding requirements.
Work closely with the content, outreach, and creative teams to understand video requirements and deliver content within timelines.
Review raw footage and identify the best shots, sequences, and visuals for the final video.
Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, text, captions, animations, and other elements wherever required.
Adapt videos into different formats and aspect ratios for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final output meets the required quality standards.
Stay updated with current video editing trends, techniques, tools, and AI-based solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of video production.
Maintain organized project files, footage, assets, and final video outputs.
Support the team with ad hoc video editing requirements and other creative projects.

Other Requirements
Minimum 1 year of professional or relevant video editing experience is required.
Must have their own laptop suitable for professional video editing and must be able to carry it when required.
Must be comfortable handling different types of editing challenges and working on complex or demanding video-editing requirements.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is required.
Experience in creating both short-form and long-form video content will be preferred.
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous video editing work is required.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with the team.
Ability to manage multiple editing assignments and meet deadlines.
Candidates who are comfortable learning and using AI tools to improve their editing workflow will be preferred.
Candidates should be adaptable and willing to work on different types of video content rather than being limited to a single editing style or format.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
