Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing videos, YouTube content, Shorts/Reels, Ads, Podcasts and promotional videos for our EdTech platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging YouTube Shorts, Videos and Instagram Reels from long-form content.
• Manage pre-production activities, including podcast/Ad planning and video shoots.
• Maintain consistency in the company's video style and branding.
• Add text, captions, graphics, transitions and animations wherever required.
• Ensure good audio quality, colour correction and overall video quality.
• Create engaging intros/hooks and maintain good pacing.
• Repurpose existing content into short-form videos for social media.
• Work closely with the content and marketing team.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a Video Editor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro .
• Knowledge of After Effects will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts and Ads
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling and visual presentation.
• Ability to maintain brand consistency across all video content and visual elements.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Hands-on experience in in-house video shoots, including podcast recordings, ad shoots, and educational video production.

Portfolio

Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory. Candidates should share relevant examples of their previous editing work, especially YouTube videos, Reels/Shorts, Ads.

What We Are Looking For

Someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and proactive , with a strong understanding of brand consistency and the ability to make educational content engaging, clear, and impactful. Someone who can manage pre-production activities, coordinate podcast and ad video shoots, and deliver high-quality video content within deadlines.
