Video Editor

Intellectica is recruiting a Video Editor on behalf of its client, a leading media organisation. Based in Spata and Marousi, Attica , and reporting to the Head of Production, the successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging long-form and mid-form video content for the company’s digital channels and digital-first shows. Working closely with producers and content creators, the role combines creative editing, storytelling and strong visual flow to deliver high-quality video content aligned with the company’s brand guidelines.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Editing long-form and mid-form digital video content, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing and alignment with brand guidelines
• Transforming raw footage into engaging and well-structured video content for digital channels and digital-first shows
• Performing basic colour correction, sound design and audio mixing, as well as incorporating graphical overlays
• Collaborating closely with producers and content creators to refine edits and implement feedback
• Maintaining organised project files and systematically archiving video footage and related assets
• Managing editing tasks efficiently to support the delivery of high-quality content within fast turnaround deadlines

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production, Digital Media, Audiovisual Arts or a related field
• Previous experience in digital media or a related industry will be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
• Good understanding of horizontal (16:9) video formats, with the ability to adapt content to different digital platforms
• Strong understanding of pacing, story structure and audio-visual timing
• Portfolio demonstrating experience in digital video, web series or editorial content
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
