Job Description

Lama Rateb for Marketing is seeking a highly creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing creative team in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate must have advanced video editing skills, a strong understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to produce high-quality, engaging video content for premium brands, corporate clients, and social media platforms.

We are looking for someone who combines creativity, technical excellence, storytelling, and an excellent sense of visual aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit professional videos for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Produce high-quality Reels, short-form videos, corporate videos, promotional content, and interviews.
• Create engaging video sequences using professional transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual effects.
• Perform professional color correction, cinematic color grading, audio enhancement, and sound mixing.
• Add Arabic and English subtitles, animated typography, graphics, and branded visual elements.
• Transform raw footage into compelling, polished, and commercially effective videos.
• Collaborate with the marketing, content, design, and production teams.
• Understand client briefs and maintain consistency with brand guidelines.
• Deliver multiple video projects within agreed deadlines.
• Apply feedback accurately and efficiently while maintaining production quality.
• Organize project files, footage, and final deliverables professionally.
• Stay updated on social media video trends, editing techniques, and creative advertising formats.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Arabic language proficiency is mandatory, including the ability to understand Arabic dialogue and accurately edit Arabic subtitles.
• Good command of English for professional communication.
• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably within a marketing agency, production house, or creative studio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics and animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Audition.
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve for professional color grading is highly desirable.
• Experience with CapCut Desktop and other advanced AI-assisted editing tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, typography, and visual branding.
• Experience editing 4K footage and delivering videos in multiple resolutions and aspect ratios.
• Ability to create visually appealing videos that align with premium brand standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous UAE-based agency experience.
• Experience producing content for healthcare, beauty, lifestyle, corporate, and luxury brands.
• Knowledge of social media advertising creatives and performance-driven video content.
• Experience with AI-powered video production and editing workflows.
• Basic videography knowledge is an advantage.
• Candidates with a valid UAE residence visa, including family-sponsored or self-sponsored residency, are preferred, subject to obtaining the appropriate work permit.
• Candidates currently residing in Abu Dhabi or willing to commute are preferred.

Employment Details

• Working Hours: As specified in the employment contract and in accordance with UAE Labour Law.
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience and technical capabilities.
