Video Editor

Seer Social is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a freelance, project-by-project basis.

We’re a growing marketing agency specializing in social media, branding, photography, and video production.

We’re looking for someone who can take our raw footage and transform it into professional, engaging videos that align with our clients’ brands.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Editing long-form videos, including brand films, promotional videos, interviews, event recaps, and corporate content.

* Professional colour correction and colour grading to create a consistent, high-quality look.

* Audio editing, including dialogue cleanup, music selection, sound effects, and audio balancing.

* Adding transitions, captions, titles, and motion graphics where appropriate.

* Organizing footage and delivering completed videos in the correct formats for each platform.

* Making revisions based on creative direction and client feedback.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.

* A portfolio demonstrating professional short-form and long-form video editing.

* A strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.

* Confidence with colour grading and audio editing.

* Ability to work independently, follow a creative brief, and meet deadlines.

* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a consistent brand style across projects.

* Experience creating content for businesses, brands, or marketing agencies is an asset.

Position Details

Location: Remote, Canada preferred

Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor

Schedule: Flexible, project-based

Compensation: Based on experience and project scope
