About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Manager who can transform long-form video content into engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong technical editing skills, excellent storytelling instincts, and a solid understanding of content marketing. We need someone who can identify compelling moments, create polished videos, and contribute fresh ideas to improve audience engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit full-length podcast episodes, ensuring smooth pacing, clear audio, seamless camera transitions, and consistent visual quality
• Identify compelling moments from long-form videos and create engaging short-form content, including Reels and Shorts
• Develop effective hooks, accurate captions, and thoughtful pacing to maximize audience retention
• Create thumbnails and supporting graphics that align with established brand guidelines
• Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, publishing, captions, titles, and platform-specific formatting
• Review content performance and recommend strategies to improve engagement, audience growth, and overall content quality
• Use AI-powered video and image tools to enhance production while maintaining creative quality and originality
• Work independently, incorporate feedback, and consistently deliver high-quality content on time

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, particularly for long-form and multicamera podcast editing
• Strong creative judgment, storytelling ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to identify engaging video moments without losing the original context or message
• Practical experience with AI-powered video creation and editing tools
• Proficiency in Canva; experience with AI image-generation and thumbnail tools is a plus
• Understanding of social media marketing, audience retention, titles, thumbnails, and content performance
• Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of creative projects
