Video Editor Contractor/Freelancer

About the role

You'll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce high-performing video and visual content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, paid social, and other digital channels. This role is for someone who understands that social content isn't just about making videos look good, it's about creating content that hooks attention, tells a story quickly, feels native to the platform, and drives action.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form, social-first video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, Youtube, and paid social
• Create strong hooks, pacing, transitions, text overlays, captions, and visual storytelling that keep viewers watching
• Work closely with the Creative Strategist & Content Creator to develop and execute social content concepts from brief to final delivery
• Create performance-driven variations for paid ads, including different hooks, openings, CTAs, and edits
• Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, music, effects, and other elements where appropriate
• Help repurpose existing assets into fresh content across multiple channels
• Take creative feedback and execute revisions quickly and accurately

About you

• Proven experience creating social-first content, particularly short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Youtube, and Facebook
• A strong understanding of what makes content perform on social media, especially hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling, and shareability
• Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools
• Experience editing UGC, creator content, product content, and performance marketing assets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio demonstrating social-first work is required
