Roles & Responsibilities Freelance Video Editor

Company: Rojgar With Ankit Employment Type: Freelance / Remote

1. Video Editing: Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos as per project requirements.
2. Performance Marketing Ads: Create engaging video advertisements for Meta, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
3. Content Enhancement: Add transitions, animations, motion graphics, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and background music to improve video quality.
4. Raw Footage Editing: Convert raw faculty recordings, testimonials, promotional footage, and educational content into polished videos.
5. Creative Storytelling: Use strong hooks, engaging visuals, and effective CTAs to improve viewer engagement and retention.
6. Brand Consistency: Follow the company's branding guidelines, visual style, and content requirements.
7. Timely Delivery: Complete and submit assigned projects within the agreed deadlines.
8. Revisions: Make necessary changes based on feedback from the marketing or creative team.
9. Quality Control: Ensure high-quality audio, proper color correction, smooth transitions, and platform-specific video formats.
10. Coordination: Communicate with the team regarding project requirements, progress, feedback, and delivery schedules.
11. File Management: Organize and share final exports, project files, and other required assets in the specified format.
12. Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of company footage, assignments, and unpublished content.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects is an advantage.
• Experience in editing Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, and promotional advertisements.
• Understanding of video pacing, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong time management and willingness to incorporate feedback.

Note: This is a freelance engagement, and work will be assigned on a project basis with mutually agreed deadlines and deliverables.
