Our client GEM Creatives is hiring a Video Editor in Lahore.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with 1-2 years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video content. This is a full-time, in-person role where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for various platforms.

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Organize and manage video assets and archives.

• Ensure consistency and continuity in the storytelling and branding guidelines.

• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve and refine the final products.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with 1-2 years in a professional setting.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills.

• Excellent understanding of timing, pacing, and scene dynamics.

• Creative mind with storytelling skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or a related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing techniques is a plus.

• Knowledge of color grading and audio editing is advantageous.
