Video Editor Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, story-driven Video Editor Intern to join our Marketing & Branding team. In this role, you’ll help bring our brand identity to life across digital channels by transforming raw footage into compelling video content. Beyond editing, you’ll own the visual packaging—designing eye-catching video thumbnails, title cards, and brand assets that capture attention and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Set Support: Assist with video shoots, operate cameras, and manage basic lighting/audio setups during studio or on-location productions with other team members.
• Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, brand-aligned content tailored for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Thumbnail & Asset Design: Create eye-catching, high-CTR video thumbnails, title cards, and graphics using our brand guidelines.
• AI & Workflow Optimization: Utilize modern AI tools to streamline audio cleanup, captioning, visual asset generation, and workflow efficiency.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing & Branding team to brainstorm video hooks, shot lists, visual aesthetics, and content ideas.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut).
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Affinity) to create visual layouts and thumbnails.
• Strong instinct for visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and pacing.
• Familiarity with modern social media trends, platform algorithms, and video formats.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Canva AI, or audio/video AI plugins) to enhance creative workflow and asset creation.
• A portfolio or sample video (short/long) showcasing video editing and basic graphic design work (personal or academic projects welcome).
• Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months
