Video Editor Intern (Reels & Ad Videos) – Orbiverse Digital

Location: Hyderabad/ remote at Start

Duration: [3-6 months], with a chance of a full-time role

Stipend: [₹ 12,000-15,000 per month]

Role Overview:

You will create reels, short videos and ad videos for our own brand and our clients. We want someone who can turn a brief and raw footage into scroll-stopping content, and who has ideas of their own.

What You Will Do

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form social media videos

• Create 15-30 second Meta ad videos with a strong hook, captions and a clear call to action

• Make variations of the same video (different hooks, lengths) for ad testing

• Resize and export videos for different formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)

• Add captions, motion text, music, sound effects and transitions

• Suggest hooks, concepts and trending formats for reels

• Follow brand guidelines and apply feedback quickly

• Deliver work on time and keep project files organised

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing (freelance, internship or personal projects count)

• A portfolio with at least 3 reels or short videos (links must open)

• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro

• Understanding of what works on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook

• Good sense of pacing, sound and storytelling

• Willingness to learn, take feedback and meet deadlines

Good to Have:

• Photoshop or Canva for thumbnails and covers

• Experience with AI video tools

• Basic shooting or lighting knowledge
